This set is a great way to enter into the hobby. The little 0-4-0 is an easy to run loco. The set is easy to build off of, no matter if you choose the Trakmat route, or build off of it track by track.

Holidays are coming...!
Nice set, and a bit different from the Santa Express we've had running the past couple of years around the tree. It's bright and colourful, and neatly finished - it impressed adults and children alike. The little 0-4-0 makes like work of the wagons, but I've added the additional box van and tank wagon to complete the set - there's plenty of power in reserve for future wagons to be added. I like the new controller, an improvement over the previous starter set version. I assume it's for Adult Collectors only, as it's not ideal promoting sugary drinks to children nowadays, perhaps next year's wagons could be for the sugar free and diet variants!
