Hi, I have fitted a class 43 TTS decoder to a Bachmann 6 car pullman via a Bachmann 21/8 pin converter and also have lost cab lights. Could you please explain or show how you managed to correct your loco. You mention soldering some pads. A diagram would be very useful. Appreciate your help.

I have just noticed R3632 Merchant Navy 'East Asiatic Company' is now showing December 2019 for delivery. That's virtually 2 years since I placed my pre-order!

I have £25000 of model railway insurance through 'Magnet Insurance Services' who specialize in railway insurance and my yearly premium is £120. My railway is in a large shed with strong locks, window locks, blinds and very loud shed alarm. Their contact number is 01636858249. Hope this helps.

My railway is the 'Great Escape' over the Christmas period. While the family enjoy the many soaps and 'Strictly' following our lovely traditional family christmas lunch, I will be in my large workshop trying out the latest railway presents. The joy of the tranquil workshop while the inevitable screaming and shouting coming from the TV programmes cannot be put into words but can be appreciated by fellow train enthusiasts. I return to join the festivities when calm returns to the house.

In the last couple of weeks I have had to send a loco and my Elite to Hornby for repair. Both items were returned very quickly fully repaired and although out of warranty, there were no repair charges. Thank you Hornby.
