Just received a pair of Scandinavian hunting birds - a Falcon (Hattons sale) and Kestrel (Ebay) !!

1 is brand new at a good price, the other has just sat on a shelf, but still looks fine.

I suppose you have a point there.

If it's only the opening of a package already released, then it's probably 't-shirt time' for most.

If there's a constructive and informed review included, then it may be different - even if it's more of the same.

Let's face it, a 6 year old can make US$20m just playing with toys during a 12-month period!!  (Ryan - if not familiar, check it out. My own lad was watching it for quite some time. Now he's 6 he's into other things ... mainly F1 but I digress.)

Thanks JP.

No traction tyres and I suppose no grooves (?) would probably indicate they're meant to run solo - very nice!!

I like that JP.

I was actually looking at a couple on a certain auction site, but decided I really didn't need one .. to stop me from 'pushing the button'.

Did they ever hook up with other carriages or simply ran 'solo' - just wondering if there's a need for the coupling or not?

Does the Lima one use a ringfield and have traction tyres?

Just curious !!

Maybe its a case of taking 2 steps backwards, then advance 3 ...

Why not continue ... advertise the next one .. as you did the first one ... then the next one ...

Perhaps make it once every 2 weeks, or once a month ... but once it becomes a more-regular thing, people will start to gravitate to the site.

Most of us, myself included, have our own 'comfort zones' and are definitely creatures of habit ...

Getting us to change, even slightly, may not happen 'overnight' ... or am I missing something?

@Caiptean

Al,

Accessory packs can be like buses....

Colin

Well Colin, quite a bit of water has passed under the bridge.

I missed one accessory pack ...

I've had some RT Models bits - quite decent ... but ...

I've just 'WON' another accessory pack - AT LAST!!

Not cheap, but I did fairly well - less than the one I missed.

If in good condition, that's an excellent price.

The price, generally is how much people are prepared to pay for it.

Condition is important - don't accept anything less than you want - there's always another one around the corner.

I would look at some of the major shops like Peters, Rails, Hattons and of course Ebay, to get a good idea of the prices.

If its an auction and you're bidding, I recommend you set yourself a limit, and if it goes over, move away ... but your call.

KING HARRY !!!

Good series - just the right length - similar screams, and people enduring pain, etc.  -  both sides of the screen!!

Now Christmas is coming - that much of a 'regular thing'!!

Enjoyed this year's presentation.
