SThe Sovereign & Signature Collections and a Final Look at the ‘Toad’

It's finally here...a week late but they managed to get this edition out!

https://www.hornby.com/uk-en/news/the-engine-shed/sovereign-signature-final-look-toad

I've been in the hobby since 1999 and received my first Hornby train set when I was 3. Since then it's been one huge roller-coaster ride in this amazing hobby. I love to talk about trains all day long and I have a small but growing collection of Hornby, Dapol, ViTrains, Accurascale, Cavalex and Murphy Models products. As many of you'll know I also do a lot of 3D modelling and love to help and assist members and friends with all their 3D modelling and 3D printing needs. I also custom build Indian Railway models in N scale, HO scale and OO scale. It remains to be my most interesting aspect of the hobby. Many of you'll love to get in touch with me. If you're serious about getting in touch, please contact the admin for my contact details. Don't ask for contact details and then not get in touch.

I have no idea when the Engine Shed is released.

Just out of interest how do you know about it before others Jeremiah? Laughing

I got an email today saying it was available.

I got the email, too, but Jeremiah beat me to it re the first post.

It depends on whether I'm in or not, and checking my emails, when it arrives.

Well I do check the Hornby website on a daily basis for any updates regarding new releases and sometimes new announcements. I also check the Hornby Forums on a daily basis and provide help wherever I can. "The Engine Shed" is always released in a Friday so it's easy to keep a track of it. When one is released if Adam hasn't posted about it, I simply follow his posting format and make a similar one.

I wonder if any of these prototype models and / or final production models will be on display at Warley?

Hi all

Well the brake van looks good.

The steam freight sets are annoying in the extreme have the research team still not worked out that a steam freight train has a guards van usually a distinctive regional or company one.

Obviously the research team doesn't otherwise they would not still be getting this wrong

regards John
