The Engine Shed gets you right up-to-date with the Lord Nelson class. Announced in the 2018 Range Launch, these models are seen by many as the flagship for 2018 and collectors will be eagerly anticipating their release.

Incredible locomotive, incredible model. I look forward to seeing this model progress to production samples and then it's release.

Good to see another "The Engine Shed" blog so fast, wasn't expecting it.

I hope that like 2016, this year we'll have more surprise blogs with little clues tucked in. I've had a quick look at the video and apart from a sample of the Intercity Class 87 and a Black 5 (if I'm correct) there's nothing there. Need to scrutinize it again.

Cheers!

Hi

Looking forward to the release of Lord Nelson Class for my collection, my only moan is that Lord Nelson it self is not being released in Southern Green  As one of the national collection loco that is her true colours. May be next year?

What a grand model!  Just a great pity that the Southern D class wasn’t chosen,

this has bags of opportunities for really monumental development in terms of liveries, etc.  But that’s not too decry a really super looking locomotive - yes I have one on Order!

I wonder if it is possible for anybody to remark about a new model without saying it’s a pity etc. LaughingLaughing

Nice one Jeremiah.

WTD ........... Nurse, the screens.

I have a couple of questions. You've said that Lords Hood and Hawke can't be produced, but you haven't said why. Can you clarify that for us all?

I'd like to rename Sir Francis Drake, but am wondering if every loco of this class was unique in some way, be it design, tender, blastpipes, etc. Are any of the locos exact sisters?

LMS is the best.

I believe they had very different boilers that would require a complete re-tool.

You're right WTD. I believe some of the others had minor differences as well but LC&DR and Caiptean know better than me.

Such a PITY    Tongue Out
