Just one small problem

It is a great loco and has outstanding detail. It runs very smoothly and the sound is realistic. But the little pipes that you put on the front (and back in this case) don't fit in the holes correctly. I used a bit of poly cement from an aeroplane model and it stuck fine.

Excellent Value

I purchased this purely to run around the Christmas tree with a festive train around Christmas time. The model is so quiet and extremely smooth even at a crawl. It's also actually reasonably well detailed considering it's a budget model. I've adding some detailing such as overhead warning flashes, front lamps, etched nameplates, shed-plates and build plate, so much so that when going around the layout, you can't really tell it apart from one of the premium models. Pulling power is also excellent, comfortably handling my 6 lit Pullmans + Obs car. If there were 6 stars it would get my vote as it's a huge mark up from the the older railroad models.
