Roman12
Apologies if the question sounds simplistic but does anyone have an idea how to get rid of the creases on a hornby trackmat. Thanks
VESPA
Hello Roman, getting creases out of paper is almost impossible but you could try a warm iron. If you are a youngster then get mum or dad to do it. If you are an adult be very careful not to burn it ie. scorch it. Why use a track mat when you can look at layout designs online? Chrissaf
Never tried it, so this is purely a theory. What about trying a 'wallpaper steamer'. On the basis that heat softens material, but steam doesn't burn. I am assuming of course, that the TrakMat isn't paper or card, but some form of plasticised material..EDIT: Re bold text. At time of writing had not seen Vespa's post. A warm (not hot) clothes iron is usually good for paper based products.
mjb1961
Are you going to put in onto a board and leave it on there ,if you are you could try wallpaper paste and stick it to the board as long as you are good at wallpapering ,other than that you could roll it up tight and leave it for a while ,,,,,martin
trainlover23
Don`t put the trackmat on the board just COPY the paln from the mat. That way you need not worry about the folds. Simples
Roman12
Many thanks for all your help. It will probably be a week or two before I need to use it so I will look at the different suggestions.
