New for 2013
In respect of the Gresley and Thompson suburban coaches these make ideal passenger stock to be pulled by either LNER or BR variants of the Hornby L1, B1 or B17 locomotives of the period. For those who prefer the more modern coach stock then there are various Mk3 coaches in several liveries available as well as Mk4 coaches in the colours of the East Coast Main Line service and ideal for use with the ‘Flying Scotsman’ Class 92 and DVT. In short the Hornby range of coaches continues to have something to offer most periods, regions and of course enthusiasts.
For 2013 several new wagons have been added to the Hornby freight stock. Firstly, there is the eagerly anticipated GWR and later BR Shunters truck based on the GWR M3 Diagram. Also new is the BR 12 Ton Insulated Fish Van which will also become available as a 12 Ton Parcels Van therefore emulating the changes that happened to the prototype vans once they ceased being used to transport fish. To complete the new wagon selection two variants of the LMS / BR CCT (Covered Carriage Truck) Parcels Van will enter service with variants both in LMS and BR liveries.
