HVR2 Vista Patch

It has come to our attention that many users attempting to install HVR2 on Windows Vista PCs are experiencing incompatibility issues during the installation process. The process below is designed to resolve most incompatibility issues and allow HVR2 to be successfully installed and run on Windows Vista.

HVR2 CD

What version of HVR2 do you have?

The Version number is printed on the HVR2 CD. If you have installation CD version 1.06 and above you do NOT need to install the patch. This patch is ONLY for earlier versions.

CDs without a version number are earlier than 1.06 and will need patching before it is possible to install HVR2.

The location of the version number on 1.06 CDs is shown to the left.

Patching and installing HVR2

  1. Create a new folder on your desktop called "HVR2"
  2. Insert the HVR2 CD into your computer and cancel any installation screens that open.
  3. Browse to the CD, and view it's contents.

  7. Complete the installation by running the HVR2 Config tool to set up the screen resolution and other options that HVR2 will run use.
  8. HVR2 is installed and is ready to use.
