This stunning limited edition train set is aptly named and is in celebration of Her Majesty, the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee. the "Princess Elizabeth" locomotive with gold effect metal components certainly looks the part when pulling the three LMS coaches around the oval of track which also incorporates a siding. As a special addition this set will also include a resin, brass effect maker’s plate celebrating Her majesty’s Diamond Jubilee (measuring approximately 230mm x 130mm) as well as a limited edition certificate. The track circuit in this set can be enlarged using the Hornby track and building packs so that the layout featured on the midimat can be completed. This special celebratory limited edition set is restricted to 4000.

R1138 GWR Passenger Freight

the versatile gwr 0-4-0 locomotive makes easy work of hauling the 2 open wagons and the small coach around the oval of track which includes an additional siding providing an area where selected wagons can be deposited and collected again as the train travels the circuit. The set also includes a midimat on which the track included can be placed. Additional track packs and accessory packs can be added to extend the layout to a fully functioning model railway.

The most famous locomotive and train in the world features in this superb Hornby train set. the striking apple green liveried class A1 "Flying Scotsman" helps to recreate those wonderful days of train travel in the 1930s when the two great railway rivals, LNER and the LMS vied for the lucrative passenger traffic between London and Scotland.
