Coaches

The wide and far reaching range of Hornby coaches ensures that there is passenger rolling stock to suit most regions as well as several periods of the British railway network. Coaches such as the exquisite LNER/BR Gresley teak models with their amazing detail both inside and out make these models a must for both pre and post nationalisation based layouts. The same can be said for the Stanier designed Period 3 coaches especially when hauled by one of Sir William Stanier's large Pacifics. However no model layout is complete without the opulent splendour of at least one train made up of the amazing Pullman cars with their table lamps which actually do light up!

New for this year are the much demanded Maunsell coaches. Built from 1926 until 1335 these coaches were in everyday use up to and far beyond the Nationalisation changes of 1948. Suitable for use with the majority of the Hornby new generation Southern locomotives these coaches illustrate once more that the immense lengths the Hornby designers and engineers go to in creating models of stupendous detail and quality.
